The Fyke Nature Association was founded in 1952 with the goal of saving undeveloped tracts of land in Bergen County, New Jersey, and establishing them as Nature Preserves. In one of the most densely populated areas in New Jersey, the Fyke Nature Association’s mandate of preservation and stewardship is of the utmost urgency and importance.

We offer educational programs and workshops of interest to people of all ages throughout the year. We also lead field trips to various locations in New Jersey and southeastern New York for birding, botanizing, and general nature study. We are an active and dynamic organization dedicated to conservation and environmental protection.
